Do I need additional software for usage of Citrix?

You need a Citrix client installed on your PC. This Citrix client is already installed on Kaercher managed PCs.


The application including general installation instructions can also be found directly on the Citrix manufacturer's website: https://www.citrix.com/en-gb/products/receiver.html


       Attention! If you are using an older operating system (Windows 7 or Windows 8.1), this is no longer supported by the current Citrix clients.

                     In this case only, please revert to the last version that is still compatible with these operating systems - here is the link Citrix Workspace app 2002 (use for Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 only)        


The Citrix Workspace APP (formerly Citrix Receiver) is often updated by the manufacturer, the screenshots are therefore exemplary and may differ. 

        The latest version is always supported.


This message appears if you log in without an installed Citrix Client:


       



To install the Citrix Client, you must accept the Citrix license agreement.


You will be connected to http://downloadplugins.citrix.com/Windows/CitrixWorkspaceApp.exe


       


       


Click "open" to launch the installer: 


       


       Click "start" to begin the installation:

       

       


       Please accept the license agreement and click "Next".


       


       Leave the default settings ("Enable single sign-on" is NOT activated) and click "Install".


       Note: Single SignOn only makes sense on company devices where you also logon locally with your Kaercher user.


       In some cases this message will be shown:


       

       

Check the box and click "Open Citrix Workspace Launcher".


You may still need to activate a Citrix Add On in the browser.



Installation of Citrix Client is finished and you can start using Citrix Applications now.
